About AD/HD
AD/HD are a Bon Scott era AC/DC tribute band, playing energetic, authentic AC/DC covers. We're based in Bristol in the UK, but will consider playing anywhere on the planet if you tempt us with cash, free booze and other such goodies.
Below is a video of us playing Live Wire at a charity event for dementia in honour of Malcolm Young, filmed early in 2015.
The band started playing around the UK in 2012 and have always focussed on entertaining the crowd and having fun. We have no plans of stopping. Ever.
We're constantly taking bookings so please get in touch if you want us to come and play for you.

Please note, the band is currently on hiatus. This is a knock-on effect of covid. However, we will consider getting back up and running for the right gig at the right price with enough warning to rehearse.

History
AD/HD started rehearsing at the tail end of 2011 and started gigging in the spring of 2012.

At the end of 2012, James (Angus Young), had to move back to the USA. This made gigging a tad difficult. We thought about doing gigs via Skype, but after we'd sobered up, we realised it probably wouldn't work...
We coaxed Karl (who used to play for UK legends 'Hells Bells' back in the 90s / early norties) into the fold, to take on the role of Angus Young. Isn't he beautiful? Yes. He is. And he performed like a madman at every gig.

After 5 years with the band, Karl hung up his shorts at the end of 2017 to pursue other musical projects. We were very sad to see him go as he is a total LEGEND and top bloke.
Luckily, James is touring regularly. This means he is in the UK a lot, so our original Angus rejoined the band in 2018. Gigs are less frequent now, but we do still play on ocassion.

Owen Childs performed his last gig with us at the Reckless in January 2014. He went to Devon to refurbish a war boat and hasn't been seen since.

Scrotum Old joined us almost immediately and played his first gig in February 2014 after only 2 or 3 rehearsals - a proper baptism of fire. Giggage has been happening in copious amounts ever since.
