Christopher has contributed to most of the leading wine magazines around the world and for more than ten years he had a regular consumers’ column in Decanter Magazine. This was described as ‘outstanding’. (Wine Snobbery, Andrew Barr.) Currently he contributes a monthly wine column to the Church Times. 

In all he has written eleven books on a variety of wine related subjects, and these include:
